Senior Water Specialist
Engineer| Melle (Ghent), Belgium
Job Overview: As a Senior Water Specialist, you will be responsible for executing challenging water contracts and projects. You will take up the role of project manager, coordinate cooperation with Project Engineers and take the lead on both national and international projects, guiding customers towards optimal water management solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Analyse water flows and treatment processes comprehensively.
- Conduct technical audits, studies, and troubleshooting.
- Develop actionable proposals and implement them at customer plants.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and long-term cooperation through ongoing solution follow-up.
- Prepare studies and offers.
- Coordinate the engineering team and lead projects effectively.
Your Profile:
- Maintain and apply extensive knowledge of water treatment and water reuse, including water audits, feasibility studies, and innovative treatment techniques.
- Hold a higher technical education degree, preferably in bioengineering, environmental technology, or process technology.
- Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in the sector.
- Combine technical expertise with a commercial and professional approach when dealing with industrial customers.
- Exhibit proactive, conscientious, and sociable qualities with strong communication skills.
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently as well as within a team.
- Fluent in Dutch and English; knowledge of French is a plus.
