Expanding or renovating your water treatment plant
EPAS INTERNATIONAL does not build water treatment plants.
However, we can coordinate the entire construction process and manage the project.
What's more, our experts research the most suitable water treatment technology for your company, based on independent and scientific research.
Our engineers and experts will then guide you further through the realisation of the system.
EPAS INTERNATIONAL therefore offers you process technical support as an integrated package of services and takes the following steps:
- Technical audit of your system from A to Z
- Concept operational and maintenance schedule
- Define actions to renew components of installations.
New installation
Concept engineering
EPAS INTERNATIONAL develops the technical concept of your treatment plant, based on expertise, audits, in-house developed tools and on-site research.
This is translated into a Process Flow Diagram (PFD), which shows the different treatment steps with all important characteristics (volumes, flows, set points).
Subsequently, all information is poured into a detailed evaluation report.
Basic engineering
The concept of the installation is translated into a Process and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) with an indication of all essential actuators and instrumentation (process instruments: pumps, tubes, ...). In addition, the most important dimensions of the installation are mapped out. Furthermore, a technical description of the main characteristics of the equipment (capacity, pressure, flow rate, material) is drawn up with an estimate of the investment and operational budget.
Control & automation
A waste water treatment plant (WWTP) often has to deal with variations in the composition of the waste water.
This can cause significant disturbances in the functioning of the system.
In such cases, it is sometimes decided to increase the capacity of the plant.
But it can also be different ... and better!
Advanced oil control eliminates the influence of varying influent flows and loads.
In this way, a stable water treatment process is guaranteed and the expansion of the reactor volume becomes superfluous.
In addition, this system can also control the automatic dosing of chemicals for pH adjustment, sedimentation and the addition of (micro) nutrients.
Overdoses and fluctuations in the concentration of chemicals are excluded.
